In addition to subscribing to new topics and posts with the normal watching/tracking settings, you can also keep up using RSS.
- Go to any category or tag index page
- Copy the page’s URL
- Add
.rss
to the URL
Now you have the URL of an RSS feed!
As a practical example, here’s the feed of a new topics in the Announcements category: https://discourse-dev.lsst.codes/c/announce.rss
Note that these feeds only show new topics. Replies won’t appear in the RSS feed. You can get feeds of replies for individual topics by appending .rss
to the topic’s URL. However, you might find this type of workflow difficult to manage manually.
RSS feeds are only available for public categories and topics. The ‘Community Mailbot’ email list forwarder is available for private categories.
