eups distrib install lsst_sims -t sims will now get you version 2.3.7 of the simulations stack. There is no new functionality in this version. However, it does fix a bug that was preventing the stack from building correctly on NFS-mounted systems.
This stack is built against the w.2017.33 weekly release of the DM stack.
There is also a copy of lsst_apps which can be installed via eups distrib install lsst_apps -t sims and will be built against the same weekly.
This releases fixes some bugs in the sims_maf code. Comparison to None, which fails with some versions of numpy has been fixed in this release. There are some other additional bug fixes.
eups distrib install lsst_sims -t sims will now get you version 2.3.7.1 of the simulations stack. This is identical to 2.3.7 from a sims code perspective, however, it is built against a modified version of the DM w.2017.35 weekly. This release fixes bugs that were preventing the stack from building on NFS-mounted machines. The modifications to the DM code represent commits that did not make it in to the weekly but were necessary to get the code to build on NFS-mounted machines.
Similarly, eups distrib install lsst_apps -t sims will get you a version of lsst_apps built against this modified DM weekly.
