Status of LSST MOPS (Moving Object Pipeline System)- Mario Jurić gave an update on MOPS development plans on August 9th. Video can be found here and the slide deck can be found here.
Code of Conduct - based on recommendations from a recent study on sexism and racism in astronomy and planetary science, we have drafted a SSSC Code of Conduct. During August, the co-chairs will solicit feedback from the collaboration. Then the draft will be updated based on the feedback given with a vote for adoption by the SSSC in September.
SSSC Science Roadmap - The working group leads and the SSSC chairs discussed the role of the workings groups and kick-started a new SSSC Science Roadmap effort. Over the next two months, you should hear from the working group leads to gather the top 5 science goals for each science working group. The Community software/infrastructure development working group will start work to create a list of calculable values needed to do science (identifying which ones might be easy to have MOPS output) that can be iterated upon after the science priorities list is created.
LSST Project and Community Workshop Solar System session - Lynne Jones and Mario Jurić are leading a session on LSST Solar System Data Products on August 17, 11:30-12:30 MST (Arizona local time). This will be a starting point with more discussion over the coming months with the SSSC and the LSST Project Team. Lynne and Mario are going to try and have a video link through Blue Jeans for remote participation (The Blue Jeans meeting room number will be 224934301 -url link: https://bluejeans.com/224934301/). Meg will ‘live tweet’ on slack as well.

LSST EPO and the LSST Science Platform: There was a science collaboration chairs call with the LSST Project Science Team in July on the ‘LSST Education and Public Outreach program’ and ‘What to Expect of the LSST Archive: The LSST Science Platform’.
