Create change-controlled documents from Slack

For a while now, you’ve been able to use our Slack bot, sqrbot-jr, to create new technical notes. Now, we’ve added support for change-controlled documents such as LDMs, LSEs.

Open a new direct message with sqrbot-jr and type:

project create

Select the new template from the menu: Change-controlled doc (lsstdoc LaTeX).

Fill in the prompts:

Notice that the “handle” is a free-form text field. For change-controlled documents, you’ll enter the handle that was assigned to your document by DocuShare. This handle also becomes the name your document’s repository and publication subdomain.
