Hello,
I’d like us to do some cleanup in jira. Specifically:
- we have 16 unresolved stories assigned to closed epics: https://jira.lsstcorp.org/issues/?filter=14018
- we have 63 stories with no team AND no assignee: https://jira.lsstcorp.org/issues/?filter=14011
- we have at least 21 active stories assigned to people that left our project. I suspect I am missing some people that have left, but here is what I came up with so far: https://jira.lsstcorp.org/issues/?filter=14019
- we have 12 “in progress” stories that were not updated for many months, see https://jira.lsstcorp.org/issues/?filter=14010
- we have 47 active stories that have no story points: https://jira.lsstcorp.org/issues/?filter=14012. I’d argue it is useful to always set it, (set it to 0 or 0.1 if it is trivial). Otherwise, I worry we might end up forgetting to set SPs for some larger stories and not catching it.
I am hoping T/CAMs (@frossie, @KSK, @jdswinbank, @mgelman2, @xiuqin) will deal with the stories that correspond to their teams.
I think it the longer run it’d be good to automate catching this sort of issues. Frossie, could you take a lead on that and create a story so that we don’t forget?
Thanks,
Jacek
